Recite Me
Create a website that is built with accessibility in mind.

Overview
We know that our websites need to be built to an accessible standard, but where do we start on this journey? How do we make our websites accessible, and how do we make them compliant?
The world of accessibility and making your website compliant with a law or standard can be a confusing and daunting subject for many. The Recite Me Website Accessibility Checker is changing the way we address WCAG Guidelines on our websites.
Research
When starting off this project we looked into creating a competitor analysis of different companies which did similar work to our product.
We also conducted a number of user interviews to help us understand out audience better. This allowed us to pain points and how they could use this type of product within their work.
From these user interviews we created a series of 'user personas'. These allowed us to keep the user in mind when designing the product.

Final UI Designs
To help make sure that content was placed in the most logical place within the checker we carried out a series of 'Card Sorting' exercises with members of the company, as well as external developers.
From the information we gathered from the card sorting we where able to gather the topics into groups. The resulting IA can been seen below.

This section also allows the user to select the desired WCAG level by selecting from the three levels A, AA, AAA.
Domain Overview
The domain overview allows users to view their latest scan of their domain and view the results of it. The domain overview can be split into the three WCAG ratings and an overall score is presented to the user.
The Overview goes into detail on how to fix the issue on the domain and why its important that is is correctly repaired.
Create a report
The create a report feature allows our users to create detail PDF reports of their domain. These reports can track the overall WCAG rating over time or how many findings have been fixed in a certain amount of time.
